Measuring your drawers correctly is the first step to creating custom drawer organizers that fit perfectly.

Salt by Sabrina designs premium fit acrylic drawer organizers made to your drawer's exact interior dimensions. With just three simple measurements — width, length, and height — you can create custom drawer organizers that install easily and support everyday routines.

01Width

Measure the INSIDE width of your drawer box (from left to right) and select the next half-inch size BELOW your measurement

This extra space helps your organizer fit smoothly, even when drawer hardware, screw heads, or slight variations in drawer construction reduce the usable space.

Important: Your organizer should always be slightly smaller than your drawer. Select the next lower half-inch size, even if your measurement is already a whole inch or half inch.

Examples:     •    19¾” → 19½”     •    19½” → 19”     •    19 1/4” → 19”

02Length

Measure the INSIDE length of your drawer box (from front to back) and select the next half-inch size BELOW your measurement

Examples:     •    21¾” → 21½”     •    21½” → 21”     •    22 1/4” → 21”

03Height

Measure from the bottom of the drawer box to the top edge.

Your organizer can be the same height as your drawer or shorter, depending on your storage needs.

Why We Round Width & Length Down

Salt organizers are handcrafted in 0.5-inch increments and designed to fit beautifully inside your drawer.

Always round down to the next lower half-inch size

Choosing the next lower half-inch size creates the small amount of clearance needed for a smooth fit and easy installation.

This helps ensure:

  • A smooth, comfortable fit inside the drawer.
  • Clearance for drawer hardware and screw heads.
  • Easy installation and removal.
  • A finished look that feels intentional and custom.
